📽️How to Download Kick VODs
In this guide we will go through a step by step process on how to download Kick VODs (Video on Demand) from kick.com, using our cloud-based Kick VOD Downloader.
Requirements
In order to download Kick streams you will need a KickBot account. If you don't already have a KickBot account you can sign up on kickbot.app. For guidance on how to get set up, follow this guide.
Every KickBot user can download VODs, however, Premium members can enjoy features such as VOD priority downloads, unlimited daily downloads, extended VOD download expiration and automatic VOD downloads.
Setting up a VOD download
On the KickBot dashboard, navigate to the left side of the screen and find the "Downloads" section, then, select the "VOD Downloader" page.
Copy and paste the URL of the VOD you want to download into the KickBot VOD Downloader "Kick VOD URL" field.
You have the option to adjust the resolution of the download. Lower resolutions will download faster and have a smaller file size than higher resolutions, which have a larger file size.
Once everything is in place click on "Download" to initiate the download process.
On average, downloads should be ready within 10 minutes. The KickBot download server is cloud-based, so there is no need to leave your browser open or computer on.
Downloading your VODs
Your VODs will appear under 'Downloaded VODs' where they will have any of the following status':
Queued - In the queue to be processed
Processing - Our server is processing the VOD
Download - Ready to be saved locally on your computer
All VOD downloads are downloaded in .mp4 format.
VOD Availability
It's important to note that once a VOD is downloaded it will remain available for just 36 hours for Standard users or for 7 days for Premium users.
If you haven't downloaded your VOD within the required timeframe, you will need to go through the download process again.
